About Northside High
Dedicated to educational excellence
Northside High School is one of six high schools in the Tuscaloosa County School System. It is a comprehensive high school housing grades 9 through 12. We currently operate on an eight-period day, with one of those functioning as REACH Advisory. All students in grades 9-12 are enrolled in an advisory class where they utilize IXL reading and math as well as ACT prep. Credit is awarded upon completion of each course. In addition to attending classes on the local campus, students may attend classes at Tuscaloosa Career & Technology Academy, complete coursework online through the State of Alabama's ACCESS Distance Learning program, participate in dual enrollment programs at local colleges and universities, or seek higher education opportunities for banked credit.
Northside High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
